This made me happy today...

I have a classroom full of the greatest kids! They are all so wonderfully creative.

Also... no art tonight. I made a huge mess of my idea. And now I need to sleep.

a few things...

i've been thinking a lot, about a lot... and you can't see it from the outside...
we got a new bean tub at school... it's wonderful...
bubble-making work...
elliott tried to put a diaper on his baby tonight... so freaking cute...
he also tried to hug it, or give it rescue breaths, or CPR... im not really sure...
i made seth this delicious mound of rice-crispy treats last night, and he ate them all up...
i miss him right now... he's in the miami airport...

I am currently trying to decide what to do with all of my artistic energy. I know that some of you really want to see the book I did, but I kinda started over! Yikes! I didn't completely scratch anything, but I realized the illustrations were far more interesting than the story. I will keep you posted. I do plan to finish it on a happy note. There is also another story idea swirling around in my head. AND... I just might decide to open a little shop up here. We'll see...

Soooooooooo much to do. Soooooooooo little time. duh.

Lala gave Elliott his first (much-needed) haircut...
He was pretty good, and sat fairly still. I did however, feed him about 12 packs of fruit-snacks...
Thanks Lala. He's looking much better now...
Also Lala, we are very glad you have a cat...

So, my precious friend MaryLindsey (who is pregnant with triplet boys!!!) needed to go test drive mini-vans today (hehe), so we kept her little Harper for a bit. It was great fun. Elliott twas a bit of a jealous cheese-head though...
also, just for fun, I wanted to share my current 5 food groups...

Elliott likes to celebrate his great-grandfather's love for bright green pants, by wearing them too!
I could not get a good picture of him this morning at school, but I'm sure that Big By is smiling anyway...

Some things Elliott did this weekend...

made scary matching faces with mommy.
spent some time with our sweet friend riki-lynne at mosaic this morning.
was over-stimulated.
made a very important phone call.
was astonished by the person on the other end.
hid his blanket.
talked to daddy.
hid from mommy.
we also spent some lovely time at the worley home on saturday. he got lots of love and LOTS of banana bread!

ok then. have a good week. i will be back in a bit with some creative postings!

Our life is so very exhausting... ( but it seems we never get anything done ) Hmm...
Also, Elliott has a new favorite outfit. He likes to dress himself in his puffy-vest, a diaper, and rain-boots...
alrighty then... my kid is weird.

Bonus thoughts...

• I'm totally bummed that I'm not leaving for ATLANTIS with my mom and sister on Saturday! I do wish them well though, and hope they can find a way to bring me back a tan!
• I feel a-lot better when I think about the trip to Boston I just booked for May with my amigas! Woot.

Oh, and for those of you who have emailed me, or asked about my book, here is the update: Seth has been working on it for the last few weeks, and he JUST informed me last night that I need to learn to use photo-shop!!! WHAT?! Seriously, he is making me finish the rest by myself! He is forcing me to learn! I'm sure he's right... I guess. Any-who, there is not much left, thank-goodness. So, hopefully I am almost finished. I've been working on it tonight, and it's safe to say that I'm bugging him for help much more than I'm learning...
