I took Elliott to the park today after school. I love the little playground in our apartment complex because there are never people there, and it is the perfect size. Usually he prefers to slide, slide, and slide again, but today he just wanted to swing. So we did. All we could hear was peace and quiet, and maybe a bird or two. It was a nice reminder that sometimes we are just called to be still, be silent, and just... be.
